Alternator good battery good will not start
Does it crank the engine ? If not take a look at the starter connections and the starter.Replace the starter if nessesary.
Ok, now that you got the most common problems out of the way, you should check for spark at the spark plugs. Remove a spark plug and attached to the wire. Get a good pair of rubber gloves and put the thread of the plug to ground and crank the engine. The spark plug should spark a bluish spark. If it has an orange spark the spark plug or wire may be bad. if it does spark fairly good.
Check the fuel pump. if it has an electric fuel pump you should hear it when you turn the switch to on. It is a whirring sound. if you can't hear it. the Pump is bad or the shutoff valve turned off the fuel system. Check it to see if the button is up. If it is then the valve clicked off. Press it down. If it is down and there is no fuel the fuel pump is bad.
If it is a mechanical pump, take off the hose to the carb if it does have one. crank the engine . It should pump gas right away.
If it does have spark or fuel to the sytem, then it is a sensor or other problem. You will have to get a trouble code for it. to narrow everything down.
Check the timing belt or chain to see if it is still good and tight. If it is not your timing belt or chain skipped or cut off. you will have to replace it.
I hope you can get some help from this info . good luck
Spider injector
1993 chevy S-10 blazer Won't start. Replace timing chain' starter. pluigs and wires. Getting spark and plugs are getting gas . At times the plug are soaked' I mean soaked! What could the problem be?
SOURCE: i have a 93 chevy 1500. Good battery, good
You should check the electrical system at this point Get the rubber gloves out pull the wire off the distributor cap for the coil hold the wire close to the hole that it was pluged into have someone try to start the vehicle you should get a spark if you do then take out one of the spark plugs plug the wire back on the plug and touch it to the engine block and have to other person try to start the engine again you should see a spark again If you get no spark at the coil test it cuuld be a bad coil or the electronic ignition module witch is the most likly cause of your problem But if its sparks at the coil and not at the plug then eletronic ignition is likely good and the high votlage side of the coil is the problem hope this helps

Will a car still run if the fuel pump is bad?
I have a 93 Chevy Blazer S-10 Tahoe 4.3. In the morninr cold starts take a while to get it to run. After I have ran it it will start easily. Same problem if at night starting to go home after work. Anyone have a solution? Also, cannot hear the pump anymore when I turn the key to the "on" position. Thanks Garrett.
Also have added fuel injector cleaner, had been told that the injectors might be clogged, would this only affect a cold start? Or it might be the "Throttle Position Sensor" or the "Fuel Tank Sending Unit" or the "Fuel Pump" Which one would it more likely be?
You must make a distinction between the starter motor cranking the engine and the engine firing. Also note if the headlight go dim when you attemp to start the car.
And you checked power to: And you saw and got voltage readings of:
And before this happened:
