Sometimes the radio is programmed as an alarm. unhook the radio to see if the program is causing your problem.

SOURCE: when i start the car horn remains on till i stop the car

Hi arif27

I believe that your vehicle has a short circuit....You'll need an auto electrician....Ask him to check the horn relay before he touches anything else....

SOURCE: Malibu 2003 LS

you may have an electrical short somewhere.

have a mechanic check under the steering wheel airbag. i've discovered pinched horn wires under there once in a while. if not, follow the horn's wire(s) down the steering column to the horn. remember to solder & insulate your wire repairs well with heat-shrink.

(you may have to remove the horn's fuse or disconnect the horn so you can drive it to the garage!)

You checked all fuses? Dis-connect positive battery lead for a few seconds and reconnect. Do you have spark & fuel?

SOURCE: how to change the horn fuse on a 2003 malibu

The fuse should be located in your Fuse Center, check the Owner's Manual for the exact location and use only the same fuse amperage that was originally in there.

Can not get horn to blow on a 2001 malibu

2001 malibu horn fuse and relay are located in the under the hood fuse box.
location 21 should be the relay
location 43 should be the fuse.
if the relay is put in wrong the horn will not work. if you replaced the relay and the horn stopped working try pulling the relay out and turning it around. and try the horn again.

Where is tail light fuse for Chevy Malibu 2003?

The fuse for the horn can not make it blow.only a bad horn switch/button can do that. The tail light fuse should be marked in the fuse panel. If you have the vehicle manual you can most likely find it in there.

Cooling fan blowing relay

Generally speaking, any time you have issues with a relay or fuse blowing again and again, there is a short somewhere in the circuit. It could also be the fan motor going bad, but I believe that is less likely. Does the fan motor spin freely when the engine/key is off? Does it happen when turning the air conditioning on or when the fan starts from the engine coming up to temperature or both?
