Is it true you can access the fuel pump through the trunk of the 2003 buick lesabre
I have Heard this Before But, No one ever Reposts to let me Know if they did or not. I have looked for the Info on the Web and Cannot Locate the Info Myself. I would figure that if you could, There would be an Opening Under the Carpet inside the Trunk. Check it out and let me Know Please! Please Rate My Response! Thanks!
If there is an access plate you can remove then yes. but generally you have to drop the tank to get to it

yes, its right behind the passenger side rear seat back (in the trunk) under the carpet and an access cover that uses, about six 7mm (I think) screw bolts to remove. theres also a seal that you need to slowly pull apart after you remove the crews (try not to bend the cover). You remove the pump/sender with a chisel and hammer (or a special tool). if youre worried about making a spark and blowing up, use something else besides a chisel. personally, i unplug the electronics, then break them (the ring that holds in the pump/sender) lose (just lose but closed tight to help with the next step) then undo the fuel lines, then take it out. less stinky that way and less chance of a spark/fuel vapor issue (since i use a chisel... actually, its not a chisel, it looks like one but its one-piece, heavy and dull = I just cant remember the proper name)
