2009 V50 back up lights are both out. What could it be? Not the fuse or bulb.

The data center says the rear fog lights are not working. The back up (reverse) lights are both out. Checked fuse and bulbs.

If fuse and bulbs are fine then it's your reverse switch that's not working. it is located at the transmission, change it. but before changing you should make sure that the wires are not cut or faulty.

Could you take out a bulb and with a testlight/probe check that you do in fact have power to that circuit .Also check that they are the correct bulb for that application I have seen people put indicator bulbs in where therse supposed to be a double filament bulb.Does the base of the bulbs lead contacts line up with the two steel terminals inside the plug?

ITS POSSIBLE THAT YOUR REVERSE LIGHT SWITCH IS FAULTY BEST WAY TO FIND OUT IS TO DISCONNECT REVERSE SWITCH AT G/BOX & BRIDGE OUT CONNECTIONS WITH IGN ON & IN REVERSE LIGHTS SHOULD GO ON IF THEY DO THEN ITS YOUR SWITCH.

SOURCE: Left rear brake light stopped working but bulb and fuses are OK.

take the bulb back out have someone sit in car apply brake get your self a circuit tester and check to see if this circuit is carrying efficient 12 volt current! some times in cold weather these bulbs get hot with long period of breaking and when released condensate and rust begins and you get what you have perhaps bad socket! this would be a ideal location to begin and probably end,

Where do you find the fuse for 2004 2.0 multispace Berlingo rear left fog light fuse please, can't find it anywhere

First check the bulbs. Both fog lights are usually on the same fuse. The fuse box is under the dash, at knee height on the drivers side. the panel usually pulls loose at the top and hinges down. The Fog lights are Fuse 12 at 5 Amp.
*Note* Only replace fuses with the same colour and Amp rating.

No brake lights check fuses no blown fuses but the center brake light work

If the center high mount brake light comes on when brake pedal is depressed, and the rear brakes don`t come on, and the fuses are not blown, then I would replace the rear bulbs.

Rear fog light not working.2004 toyota rav4

I guess that your refering to the backup lights? They have their own fuse and aren't imune to having the bulbs burnt out. The bulbs are easiest to check as they may be black in color or knocked out of their holders. The back up light switch is part of the neutral start switch and they will have other problems like no start if it's bad. wiring and their plugs are also possible mainly if the car as been in an accident or other bending action.

1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo - message center says "Rear lamps not working" - checked the fuse and bulbs, they're all fine. Replaced the brake light switch under the steering column. Any other ideas?

This is a problem I have been seeing more and more of lately. The brake light circuit goes through the Lamp Outage Module (LOM). When the LOM senses a inoperative lamp, the Vehicle Information Center (VIC) displays the data to the vehicle operator.

Here is how to test the system (clic for zoom):

Check here for more details about the location of Lamp Outage Module (page 16).

Hope helps (remember rated this help) Good luck.
