    it's not the interior lights flickering it's the dashboard alarm lights, happens at low ide in park or drive, increase engine speed it stops,load the alternator by turning heater fan on high the engine rpm drops 200 rpm( labours engine) alarms don't flicker at higher rpm but loading alt the same way still drops rpms which it's not supposed to do, makes me think alternator ,happened before, replaced alternator at dealer shop , problem dissapeared, funny thing is the low voltage alternator warning lamp never came on and this is the second time it's happening ??

Remember to make sure you always spend the money, and get the higher amp alternator. if you get one that doesn't put out enough, then it will act like its going bad also.

Battery light on, got new alt., starter tries to engage, but doesnt
Did you have the charging system diagnosed or did you just guess at it being the alternator . The charging system is computer controlled . The starter isn't working because low power , battery dead . Is there B+ voltage at the wire on the back of the alternator .B+ voltage at pin 3 at the connector pluged into the alternator .
Charge the battery use a volt meter an test for B+ voltage at the places i mention . No check engine light ? DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes stored .

I have 2003 Ford Focus wagon ztw--there is plastic tube attached to front part of car engine wall that rubber hoses are attached to--it is cracked--what do you call this? You can't just take it out easily...
It should be a vaccum canister. Does the engine run rough? It should be just a clamp that holds it in place.

i just had mine done, and the labor from my regular station was for 2 hours, but he might have given me a break on that. I know its a pain on focus because you literally have to pull a whell to get at where the alternator is.

R+r heater blower motor on 03 ford focus ztw Procedure please
it's in the black plastic plenum under the instrument panel.
steps
Blower Motor Removal
  1. Remove the footwell lower trim panel passeger side.
    1. Open the glove compartment.
    1. Remove the footwell vent air duct.
      • Pull off the hose.
      1. Close the glove compartment.
      1. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector.
      2. Remove the blower motor. looks like three bolts or nuts.

Where is the radiator cap on 2003 Ford Focus ZTW
I do not believe that there is a radiator cap on the Focus. I believe that the coolant is filled from the what most would consider the overflow tank. It is an overflow tank of sorts but serves also to fill the radiator.
