What sensor causes your headlight to go out?

All of the lights on the dash board (ie: fuel, battery,,brake) flashes and then the headlight will go off. After I turn the ignition off and restart the car, everything start back working properly.

SOURCE: 2000 Grand Voyager blowing the ignition fuse

Was the old fuel pump bad? It might be worth the cost to replace the ignition switch. The wires to the fuel pump would be a second guess if the old pump was bad and burnt the wires before the fuse went. When you eliminated the fuel pump you also eliminated the wires to the pump and it started. Then you replaced the pump, but not the wires. The ignition switch is the other end of the circuit.

How to find an electrical disturbance in 1998 ford expedition

Normally this condition is the result of a poor body ground connection. Testing for this can be deceiving. At the static(nothing on) condition, testing can show a good ground. However when a circuit is excited, it has a determined resistance and a set current flow. If the ground connection to this or a branch circuit is loose, corroded, or broken wire. This will allow just enough connection to show as being good, but not good enough to complete the circuit with the required amount of connection when energized.

Are the head lights on all the time 1999 chevy silverado 1500 4x4

In the 1999 Chevy Silverado 1500, the headlights are not designed to be on all the time by default. They are typically controlled manually by the driver using the headlight switch, although some vehicles may have a daytime running lights (DRL) feature. If the headlights are continuously on, it could be due to a modification or wiring issue, and it's recommended to consult the vehicle's manual and seek professional assistance if needed.

Flashing battery light and brake light

Are you referring to warning lights on the dash board? The flashing battery light may mean you have a charging problem and the flashing brake light may mean you need break fluid or have an other brake issue. Take it to a service station or the dealer. Or read the owners manual.

I have a 2004 Nissan maxima and as I was driving it, the car shut down.No power brakes, steering etc.It would crank but not start

check the alternator. may not be charging. car will run until battery dies and than it will die, since things like computer and other components are not getting power. also cam sensors may cause this, but usually the service engine soon light will light up, if sensor fails.

1995 mercury villager that the battery light and the brake light are on when the van is running and dash lights go on and off.

The alternator is not charging the battery. Could be a bad connection bugt usually it's the alternator that's bad. The Villager & Quest both turn on the battery light and the brake light when the charging system is not working porperly

My brake sensor keeps lighting up on the dash board...When it does this my engine will not start. It tries but seems like it is getting no fuel. My anti theft light kept blinking too.. We know it is not...

If I remember correctly, the Trans Range Sensor, has ALL kinds of GREAT STUFF inexplicably routed through it. It can cause some quite crazy things to happen. There is Heater Hose that likes to leak on the Trans Range Sensor. Look and see if it was contaminated.
