According to my wiring diagram, the blue and white wire from the blower motor gets power from the key switch. The fan switch and resistor grounds the motor. No blower fuse is listed.
wiggle the connection at the blower mtr .make sure all the fuses are good even take a hammer and lightly tap blower mtr...If that doesnt help and power is present at blower mtr connection then blower mtr needs replaced
fan mtr needs to be replaced. If you locate the mtr under dash on the passenger side or under hood. then wiggle wire connector or lightly tap on the mtr. if mtr. cuts on and off you have found the problem
Hi, should be listed as heater blower motor not fans ,the fans is the ones in front of radiator. most common problems are the blower motor resistor, which is in passenger side compartment near fire wall. This is were your blower motor is also. You can check and see if its getting power to resistor, with a test light if power is at resistor, check and see if you are getting power at blower motor if no power there replace resistor. But if you have power at motor replace blower motor. If i can help further just re post. thanks
check fuses. If they are good. Then go under the hood and tap on the blower motor. If it goes on then replace it.If it doesn`t go on then check to see if you have power to the blower motor. If not check wiring and connections.
If this occurs in all positions, check fuse, check for power at the fan motor, if power in all positions replace motor. if no power at fan and fuse is good, check blower motor resistor and blower motor control switch. Replace as required
The resistors are in circuit only on the lower fan speed settings.
On the highest speed setting, power is switched directly to the fan motor.
Check fan power supply fuses,
Check power is available to the fan when high speed selected.
If all above OK, apply power directly to the motor to verify fan motor runs- if it doesn't the motor may need replacement/repair.
