You get 3 keys with the car,no reason not to have them
& have made & programmed one more
Raise the car up & put a battery charger on the battery cable
at the starter,ground the other & try charging for a few hours,
then use the remote
Have to replace the battery & you have to get it at the dealer
as it has the trunk vent hose,made by johnson controls (motorcraft)

You have to brush the battery bolt threads outside under the
trunk & the one bracket bolt under the right fender ,before you try
& remove them or you twist them off & your left with threads & no way
to secure the battery
Some had a cable release by the drivers or back seat door near the floor..in extreme cases, remove the back seat and crawl thru and release manually

This is the time that I use my cigarette lighter to cigarette lighter jumper cables. Not enough to start the vehicle but enough to activate latches, etc. They are supper cheap and one of those things that come in handy when you least expect it.

locate your starter motor.There you will find a thick single core cable (usually bolted onto solenoid).Get a fully charged battery and jumper leads.Connect negative lead to ground(any unpainted metal surface on chasis) or engine.Connect the positive clip to the stud described earlier.If you connect the other ends to the booster battery you should get enough power to open the trunk and then jump start the dead battery normally.If there seems to be no power in the circuits use the battery of a car with its engine running as a booster instead of a standalone battery.
