Trip Panel Screen, radio and phone charger plug-in not working

The trip panel screen, the radio and the phone charger plug-in stopped working when I unplugged my cell phone today. The anti-theft light is blinking, but I am not getting the prompt to enter the code on the radio. It seems the power is blown on the whole front panel. The last time I had to enter the anti-theft code, everything worked except for the radio. I don't think this is the issue. Could it possibly be a blown fuse? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you have the anti theft code you can try disconnecting it from the battery and again connecting it and it will ask for the code .

Once you enter the code it must start working.

Some acuras are known to have power hassles when you do something like this or disconnect the battery. Check with the dealer for the reset code to restore operation to radio and trip computer.

What would cause the audio/trip computer to quit, while driving down the road?

this sounds like a loose connection to these controls, have you had any work done on your vehicle recently? If you have this may have caused a connection to become loose , whilst the work was carried out, if not then i would check the connections to the various components and make sure they are pushed together properly, this will involve removing the lower dash panel , you have'nt mention vehicle so this is a general way to proceed, trace the wire looms back from the component and check each connection as you find them , hope this helps

look in the fuse box on the passender side kick panel it's the blue 15 amp fuse in the top row all the way toward the front of the car second or 3rd slot marked power outlet . Be sure to check for coins or a bad phone charger before changing the fuse.

Mazda 5 2007 model - Car radio

hello
Some of the factory radios have a plug on the back of the radio. You have to get the plug from your local stereo shop. That can get expensive. I use a I-trip its the cheap way to do it and you don't have wires to hide it all wireless. hope this helps.
