Hello. A vibration in the steerign wheel indicates an issue with the front tires. They are either out of balance, and would need to be rebalanced, or it is possible (although remotely) that the tire(s) may be compromised (after hitting a pothole), the belts in the tire may be corrupted. What I would suggest is to take the car to a reputable tire place, and get the balance checked. While the tire is on the balancer, the Tech will be able to see if the tire is out-of-round due to possible road damage. Probably just a tire balance problem. Thanks for choosing FixYA for assistance.

While driving my Altis 2007, i ran into a pothole with considerable speed. from then on, when i turn my steering wheel to the right, i hear clanking sounds like metals rubbing against each other, more so...

You've bent either the rim or the steering arms. You can't "straighten" the bent parts. Take it to a repair shop for part replacement. And soon before you have a steering failure and an accident.

2000 Toyota Corolla showing P/S on dash board then difficult steering wheel and then the speed only up to 60km/h

check if your power steering is belt controlled or electronic controlled.check If is belt controlled the see whether the belt still on the pulley not went off. If is electronic controlled then the motor might be the fault or the angle sensor is not working etc. Ask a qualified electrician to help. As regards the speed 60km/h is like safe mode comes on and allowed you to drive it slowly to the garage for repair.

2003 Toyota Corolla Wheel Alignment

The specs are what the manufacturer recommends for the vehicle when it leaves the factory. However that means with the original tires and condition. The caster is not adjustable on a Corolla, so if the vehicle pulls even with the tires switched, there is a possibility there is damage to the strut or steering parts. However, before changing anything, check all tire pressures and make sure the brakes are in good condition. A brake that is not releasing properly will cause a pull to that side. Individual toe is rather meaningless - the total toe is what is measured. You have no king pins on a Toyota so you will not have KPI.

Weak humm when driving over 35kmh.

possibly a wheel bearing or tyre noise from badly worn tyres
while driving in a straight line and noise is present change lanes or shimmy car left and right if noise gets worse or better wheel bearing problem
also if noise gets worse in normal town driving speed and gets less at higher freeway speeds check your wheel bearings

2009 Corolla steering problem

I had this "problem" but there wasn't anything wrong with the car - it was just my driving...
The steering is just sensitive and "sporty" - try driving with a much lighter hand - even one hand, lower on the wheel. I now find the steering great and its actually very responsive.
It took 3 visits to Toyota before someone finally explained this to me but it works. People kept explaining that it "drives like a Corolla" but couldn't tell me how to drive it better.
Mind you the car is still horrible on windy days but I don't have same issues in normal highway driving.
A year ago I was actually renting cars for road trips instead of driving my 09 Corolla S I was that freaked out about the steering but I'm now completely comfortable driving the car. I do have to warn everyone that drives my car on the highway though...they never believe me at first but always concede that I'm right and that a light hand makes a huge difference.
