I have had the transmitter (in the trunk), door lock, and computer module replaced in the driver's side door but when I go to open it in the cold it will not open. The other doors unlock and can be opened but not the driver's side door. At one point the display said it was searching for a 3rd fob (I only have 2). There also seems to be a problem with the remote start in the cold. Any ideas?

Power Door Lock Operation (Front Doors)
The front doors do not have traditional door lock actuators. They have electronically controlled door latches that will operate depending on the status of the door lock system. This status is determined by the front door modules and the last known state of the lock system. If the last known state is LOCK, the latches will not release when the door handles are operated. If the last known state is UNLOCK, the latches will release when the door handles are operated. The front doors are also equipped with red door lock status indicators. The front door modules will supply power and ground to the indicators to illuminate them when the lock system is in a virtual state of lock. The indicators will not continuously illuminate when the vehicle is locked. They will illuminate for approximately 5 seconds after a lock switch activation or after a door handle has been operated and the front door modules are in a virtual state of lock. For further information on the front door latches, refer to Power Door Latch Description and Operation .
I would assume they check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes ?
DTC B3062 Front Door Key Lock Switch Circuit
• DTC B3067 Front Door Key Unlock Switch Circuit
DTC B3849 Exterior Door Handle Switch Circuit
The left front exterior door handle and right front exterior door handle switch signal circuits provide inputs to the driver door module (DDM) and passenger door module (PDM) when an exterior door handle switch is activated. These inputs allow the door module to detect a door open request. The door modules provide voltage to the door handle switches. If the door module detects that a ground is applied for greater than 30 seconds continuously, a DTC is set and the door module will ignore the door handle switch input.

hi,problem with remote key,you check the battery of the transmitter, fine, how about trying with spare key,or check fuse or send to dealer for proper diagnose, preventing wrong part replacement.
SOURCE: Trunk lid won't electrically open
Its possible that your problem isnt electricla, maybe mechanical (physical); check the next procedure about Trunk Lid Lock Cylinder REMOVAL & INSTALLATION to confirm and adjust...
Fig. 1: Pull the trunk lid lock cable upward from the bracket and slide it out of the lock cylinder plate
Fig. 2: Pull the lock cylinder retaining clip upward
Add WD40 oil to lubricate all components; about the fuses, you are right, isnt showed in the manual, but could test and check position 25 and 30 in passneger fuse panel (alarm and locking system).
Keep us updated.

In your situation I think your best bet is going to be taking out the back seat. Luckily this is very easy and will allow you easy access to your truck and jumper cables. Okay in order to remove the back seat you will have to have a socket set. There should be 2 bolts holding the bottom of the seat down and you can find them on the floor on the front part of the rear seat. One bolt on the driver side and one bolt on the passenger side. After you get those bolts out you should be able to remove the bottom section of the seat. If you can not look for two more bolts on the back part of the seat. You will have to look between the back of the seat and the bottom part. After you take those two bolts out both parts of the seat should be free and you can remove them. I hope this helps.
SOURCE: 2006 Charger trunk popper won't pop with the key fob and the in-car button, what should I look for?
I had this problem also, does your third brake light come on? Also is your trunk light functional? If not there is a rubber boot from the car to the trunk lid, that those wires
run through make sure that the wires arent broken in there. That rubber boot on
my 06' Charger over time curled towards the window and got pinched and severed
all the wires. I soldered them and replaced the blown fuses in the trunk fuse box.
Problem solved.

I have the same issue with the door not unlocking. First the passenger door, then both passenger and drivers door. Replaced actuators, same issue. Dealer replaced battery in Fob, that worked for about a month. Now when cold, drivers door will not open. All doors unlock, and light flashes, but door will not open.
Will the doors unlock when you press the unlock button on your fob or not? Mine has a intermittent problem with the drivers side door too, it only works automatically by pulling the door handle when it is damp outside, I have my issue problem solved to a loose connection or bad connection inside the door on the handle bracket, I just haven't tore the door apart yet so I use the key when it's dry out..... The button on the fob manually overrides the door handle antenna, if the door unlocks when you push it, the handle needs replacing,"it has the antenna in it". If it does not, the handle bracket inside the door with the micro-switches needs replaced or the connection is bad. I also had the battery replaced in fob at the dealer, it made no difference on mine but you may try this as well, I did not have trouble with the auto start function like you have so this could be part of your issue?
