Thought maybe it needed a new actuator, but when i switch between cold and hot, the rear fluctuates in temperature like it should. but the front air constantly stays at cool. What would cause this to happen? apparently the heater core is producing heat, so any suggestions on what it may be???

Hello.Maybe I can steer you in the right direction. There is an actuator temp, door motor. It may be hard to find, but most of them are on the bottom of the blower box about where the ac hoses and the heater core is,under dash. This motor has gone out,it switches from cold to hot ,and all in between .Hope this is helpful. If not let me [email protected]
SOURCE: heater blows hot air for awhile but than blows
check coolant level in radiator and coolant bottle sounds like it may be low on coolant
SOURCE: My is heat is not work?My car is blowing cold air
first feel the heater core hoses see if both are hot if so then your problem is in the blend air door must be stuck on cold. is your blower motor blowing cold air if not your blower motor might be the problem. the blend air door is down by the blower motor.
