Passenger door on 04 beetle

Hi can you please tell me how i could open the passenger door to my beetle.
my key fob works fine for boot and driver side but not passenger.
my key wont even open it.
the door handle trys to open it but it feels locked and the door button comes up but as soon as you let go it pops back down.
not sure if electric bits are working but the passenger door button closes the driver door and opens it.

please can you help.

    no i dont.

    i live in uk and not that cold as to have door not open

    the door is in the closed and locked position.

If you can open the door its the lock actuator from handle to lock that may be off need to pull off the door trim panel /please rrate my response thank you very much

Could be your driver door lock mechanism that is going bad , since the other door are working, it cannot be the fob. I would try to change the driver side door latch mechanism.

It looks as if you may have to go back to the dark-ages and forget the remote key options, pull the door locking fuse, go back to the old manual way, the key in getting into it. Be ready to spend a few bucks to repair the driver's switching, remote module. Find a local auto-electric business.

2004 vw beetle drivers side window does not work with key fob or door switch and does not go down slightly when door is open or convertible top is lowered. all other windows work. door locks will not work...
Open the drivers side door and see if you can peel back the covering on the wires going into the door. Sometimes from opening and closing the door so much 1 or more of the wires break or rub bear and contact each other or something else. Check if all the wires are good.

I have a 2003 vw beetle and the passenger door wont open.the mechanism operates from the key fob but the door will not open
i think the wires in the door pilar rubber boot are damaged and this is why teh door will not open as its in the locked position when the wire broke that feeds the solonoid that operates the lock

1999 Audi A3 1.8T Electric Windows and Central Locking Won't work
will your passenger door open with the key and is it just one side that your windows are not working or both. if its just one side it might be your regulator motor in the door thats not working if its both it might be your central locking pump usually in the boot. however if both of them are working fine it could be that your key needs reprogrammed however i think the 1st 2 are more likely to be the problem.
