thats what ive done 65 times so far tonite and its getting tiresome

the belt of the alternator broke.
the battery light is the indication that the alternator is not charging and the wheels were not locked but very hard to turn because the power steering is not turning also. they could be using the same belt.
solution: replace the belt.

a brake in ur wires in the door,on a 04 grand i had the same problem,in the wire harness were the junction box is rust had broken one of the male prongs

Most of the times on jeeps and all chrysler auto's they have a body control modual this is what controls your door locks , windows ect. It should be in the owners manual for all fuse location and identification. A shop with a scanner can check the door lock system for you. body control moduals go bad alot on all chyslers and if you buy one you need to buy it from the dealership they will program it . So check the owners manual for a fuse and then have the body control mod checked

Try checking the wires that run from the body to the door inside the black boot. Could be a broken wire. If it is, be sure to check the fuse for that circuit (according to the wiring diagram, fuse 12 in Power Dsitribution Center). Good luck.
