My 2009 Jeep Liberty seems to be having multiple issues. It will turn on, but the instrument cluster will not. None of the gauges move, no electronic displays, etc... Also, some of my steering wheel column switches turn on (window wipers) even if in the off position. Finally, I went to see if starting it in neutral would have any effect, but I cannot take it out of park. Any ideas? Help is appreciated.

you should be able to raise it just enough to disengage it from the park ramp according to jeep...if that doesnt work try turning it on then shutting key off in mid stride

Your switch is on the passenger side of the transmission opposite where the shift linkage goes in on the drivers side.It takes a bit of careful prying and wiggling and some solvent to get most to come off. after removing the hardware that holds it on. The switch goes for about $200 but can be taken apart and cleaned...unless the contacts are really burned it will generally work after that. make sure that you keep it flat when taking it apart because stuff inside can fall out easily. Put dielectric grease in there before closing it up.Can't help with schematic...the ones I have I wouldn't wish on anyone. (terrible)
