How did you test the bulb? A lot of modern vehicles use 'twin element' bulbs so you can still get a 'good' reading on a blown bulb if you only testing one element.. If you still have high beam but no low beam it is most likely the bulb or a short somewhere in the wiring.

The connector is not the problem if the wire has power. You should start by checking the fuse located in the fuse box under the hood. See owners manual for the exact fuse. If thats not it then you have a break in the wire somewhere and that can be a process to find. If I was in your shoes and the fuse was not the problem I would spend about 10 minutes trying to trace the wire. If I didn't find anything noticeable then I would take it in. Trust me when I say its not worth your time to find the problem unless your that guy that loves alot of wires and can read a very confusing diagram.
You most likely need a new low beam headlight BULB.It has the low and high beam in it and the separate high beam has only high.
You SHOULD have 2 tabs ,one at each end to pull up and the headlight assembly should then come out easily.
Tapping a blown out headlight can reattach the filament for a short time but after that replacement is necessary.
First, inspect the bulbs and see if they are in working condition. If not, replace the bulbs. However, if they seem fine, check fuse number nine for the driver's side low beam and fuse number 28 for passenger's side low beam.
If replacing the bulb or the fuse does not solve the issue, there may be a problem with the wiring. So check for cuts, short circuits, etc. or get it checked by a professional.
