2005 Jeep wrangler w/rough idle and hesitates when you accelerate

When idling my jeep runs a little rough, it also has a slight hesitation when you go to accelerate from an idle. It has a clean air-fiter, new spark plugs, and only has 39,000 miles. What could it be? Throttle body? Vacuum lines?

I have a 2005 Jeep wrangler. When I start it , it idles fine .When i put in drive it begins to hesitate and will some times die . The jeep has 22,000

miles on it .I don't know where to start first. I have owned it for about 3 months .I have run one bottle of fuel injector cleaner through it , it seems to have got a little better , but , still is doing the same thing.

WHat does the filter look like? can it breath? what does the throttle body look like? is it carboned up? lastly, fuel pressure. remember, you only need fuel, spark and compression to run a motor. But the air with clean air filter, the non carboned up throttle body would let the computer know you are clean and not run you rich which will happen soon, and pressure. But seriously, this should be under warranty?

2005 jeep grand cherokee limited 5.7 hemi vehicles hesitates

The egr valve is located on the front of the right cylinder head. It has a tube attached to it and going to the intake manifold. It has failed and is why your jeep is running rough and hesitating. Replace it and it will fix your driveabllity issues. Disconnect the battery for 2 min to clear the code.

If this is hesitation and unsteady idle, check for vaccum leaks at the intake with starting fluid. Frankster016

Acceleration hesitation

Depends how long since your last tune up and mileage. I would do a normal oil change, oil filter, air filter and plugs. If she still does it, try checking for a vacuum leak. Start the vehicle and spray "lightly" carb cleaner around your vacuum lines. If you have a leak the engine will increase in idle suddenly. Replace the line or part. AS A LAST resort and pretty rare is the distibutor. They usually run about 75.00 to 110.00...hope this helps.
