Firstly, try to avoid depressing the gas pedal if possible, as this will flood the injection system.

Due to the intricacy of your Diamante's Emission system, this condition could be caused by any number of air/fuel components.

For this reason, DO NOT replace any parts, until you have had your diagnostic codes checked.

If you're technically inclined, you can check the diagnostics yourself by jumping the No.1 & No. 4 pins on your diagnostic connector (under dash, above driver's knee). Turn key to ON (do not star) and observe the flash sequence on your Check Engine light.

For this reason, you should have your diagnostics checked.

In the meantime, look for any small vaccuum hoses which may have detached themselves from the MAP sensor, or other related component.

make sure the compressor is coming on if not probaly low on freo ,limit switch bad,when the compressor is on and the fan is removing condensed heat it will cool off

Could be a blockage. Get an air-con specialist to blow the lines out. Check for any leaks from the rubber pipes. The twisting nature of AC pipes in cars can perish and if you have heard a blow out (like a tire blowout) the air con might have blown through a pipe.

Any leaves trapped in the windshield/hood gutter?

Maybe it got some problem with expansion valve..It's already mulfunction..

when you regassed did you check for leaks and could you see flow through the sight glass. if the answer is yes to both i would say the compressor has had it.

The controls at the dashboard control is not working as they are electronic. Best thing is tocheck with your local dealer.

check the refrigerant it might have 2 be recharged
