Push the flasher switch, nothing happens. Thereafter, the previously fine turn signals are dead. Took it to Firestone, they said they couldn't figure it out, but on the way home the turn signals were working fine. Short of never trying to turn the flashers on again, which is a very cheap fix, any ideas of what the problem is? -- Charly Coughran [email protected] I have a similar issue, and have a new flasher module, but I can't find where the old one is to replace it. Any ideas?
Usually the flasher relays are located either under the dash or out under the hood in a small black box along with some other fuses. You can try swapping the flasher relays with other relays (for example: fuel pump relay, headlight relay, etc...) just as long as they look the same. If your flashers start working then the relay is your problem and you can go to a local auto parts store and pick up a new one for about $10.
