SOURCE: Power loss after running

loss of power can happen even if exhaust does not flow in other words you have a rstriction in the exhaust usualy the catalytic converter has collapsed any exhaust shop will be able to tell you right away, or when you loose power do you hear a hissing noise ? if so that is clearly a clogged converter replace the catalytic converter

SOURCE: i have codes po 638, 121, 221 does all these mean

I believe it's all related to youe brake light switch. There is a recall on it. It sticks and causes the epc kight to flash, also causing your other stated issues. If recall working has been done, buy the dealer switch. It's easy to replace.

Have you replaced the timing belt? if not i would highly recommend doing so. these cars need to have the timing belt replaced before it breaks otherwise it can and will cause major engine damage.

SOURCE: 2001 hyundai xg300 3.0 liter no throttle response,

Check the fuel filter to see if it is restricted, and if it is not have the fuel pump pressure checked, this is the most likely cause of your problem.

EPC Light and zero throttle response.

Your Electric Power Control light is trying to tell you that your electronic throttle control is not working, hence the accelerator pedal signal is not getting to the throttle body. If you have wiring diagrams and tools to troubleshoot this, you may find what's wrong (components, wiring, PCM, etc). If not, you should have it analyzed and corrected by a qualified repair shop.

Have it scanned for fault codes as an indicator of the problem. If the throttle valve is gummed up, cold temps can cause it to stick. But diagnose first!

Ignition Distributor location

There is no cap and rotor, as the vehicles igntion system is DIS (digital ignition system). The recommended tune-up on these motors require sparkplug and coil replacement. The coil type in this vehicle is COPs (coil over plugs). Usually moist and oxidation develope on the sparkplug chamber walls from faulty or worn coil boots. This causes the coil to short, they must be replaced at 75,000 miles at the same time the sparkplugs are replaced. Typical symtoms are: Vehicle stalls (restarts and runs normal), intermitted jerks/sputter while driving, misfires, rough idle, severe power loss. Hopefully this helps

Honda accord 1996 v6 2.7 liter, rpm gage jump up and down

Here is the most common cause of surges and stalls, it is the idle speed control air-bypass valve and throttle valve, they get full of gunk over the miles and cause idle issues (stalls) like yours, Get a can of intake cleaner from any local parts store, not carb spray, intake cleaner, it is made by a company called CRC, remove the air intake hose to the engine, hold the idle high so the engine won't stall, then spray the can of cleaner into the intake while keeping the engine running, use at least 1/2 the can, shut down the engine and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then restart and complete a number of mixed driving cycles, town, freeway, stop and go etc., after a few days the problem will go away as the system will relearn to the clean intake.
