The switch is on the gearbox, But not sure of the exact location for your model. But guess there are not many other wired items on the gearbox.

Ford is notorius about the hazard switch going bad in the column. I have three trucks from 95 thru 02 that have the same problem. we just don't use the hazards and the turn signals work.

2012 focus turned off and after 30 sec wanted to turn on no sign off life, no lights nothing at all, remote commands don't work

Sounds like a loose battery cable, or bad battery, or a bad ign switch. Your battery is under a cover.. remove the cover and check the battery termenels for corossen or loose conections. in that new of car there is a possibilty of a "Main power fuse" would be in a seperate fuse box near your battery. Check your owners manual for the location. If it is an ign switch i think there is a recall on them.. but, check everything else first.

The charging system on your vehicle is computer controlled . Your vehicle is a rolling computer .The instrument cluster has a microprocessor inside , there is also a body computer ( SJB ) smart junction box , Engine computer etc... they all communicate on a serial data network , C.A.N - controller area network . It's hard to know what's wrong when you don't know how it works . There could be codes stored in the computers , these will not always turn on the check engine light .

Rear light and stoplight dont work

well id start simple. First check your fuse, then check your relays(under the hood). If fuses are good, check the bulbs themselves, when you take them out, look at them to see if they are still linked together(by the way, wear gloves, oil from your fingers can blow out the bulbs). If the bulbs are good, pull back the carpet in the trunk are to make sure the wires are still connected. If everthing is good, id suspect it your lighting control module.

very common problem, the light sockets are corroded and require replacement. call your local ford dealer and they will have the parts in stock. good luck

Ford focus station wagon looking for where tail light fuse is

There are 4 fuses you would need to check in the interior fuse panel.
The first one is fuse no.32(10amp) then check no. 33 (15amp) then no. 59 (7.5 amp) and no. 61 (7.5 amp)

Slow acceleration from stop and when driving (trying to pass)

I have the same car. So far no problems with the Transmision. I had the Trans oil change out every 60 K Sure sounds like you need to get the Transmision checked. Is the fault light on. I have invested ina fault code reader sure is worth it.
Good luck.  Vilmos
