My car will turn over but won't start. I've changed the fuel pump and filter, the spark plugs, the battery, and still nothing. I sprayed starter fluid in the intake and that didn't work. I don't think it is getting a spark. What do I try next?
I suspect that your spark plug wires or your distributor is going out. Check your spark wires and distributor. To do that take out #1 spark plug wire from the spark plug. Next take out your spark plug then put it in the spark plug wire. Then turn on car and take a look at the spark plug to see if it's getting a spark. Do this with all the spark plug. If it is your spark plug wire I would replace all of them.

well, there has to be a leak somewhere, broski.
Because you wouldn't be smelling fuel inside the car if there weren't.
I'd look somewhere around the fuel pump housing and work my way to the front of the car, personally.
chances are you're getting close to the leak if the fuel odor is getting stronger.

Sounds like it an outer cv joint on that side. They start making a ticking noise under load and it gets worse as time goes on. Have a shop look it.You'll need a pretty well stocked tool box if you want to do it yourself.

There is a warm up valve on the throttle body(should have 2 small coolant hoses). remove the valve and have someone start the car while you block the port to the valve on the intake. If that clears up the problem you can cut a piece of cardboard to mount in between the valve and intake.should straighten it out.
SOURCE: where do I spray the starter fluid (air intake?)
Follow the large (4") black rubber hose that runs from the air filter box to the engine. You can remove it at the engine end (attaches to the throttle body...you do not have a carburetor) I'd spray carb cleaner in there...it burns as well as gasoline and won't damage anything...starting fluid is very volatile and can. Normally, after running out of fuel, all that you'd need to do is leave the key in the run position for about a minute and you should get fuel up into the system. If it fails to start after several tries, likely something else has gone wrong and you will need some diagnosis to find our exactly what.

You say t pump is coming on, but do you fuel coming up to the fuel injector rail? You can check for fuel by pushing down the valve located at the left front side of fuel rail. It looks like a tire air fill stem. Be very careful as fuel is under 40 psi pressure and can spray all over the place. do this with engine OFF and have a rag to cover the valve. Just press with tip of screwdriver and be sure valve is covered. If a little gas come out,you know you have fuel. If not gas then check fuel delivery system i.e pump, filter, lines or pickup tube.
If there is fuel in the rail, then there is most likely a problem with the control module (computer).
Check for fault codes with an OBD II reader. You can usually rent one at your local part store. You can look up fault codes to find out where the problem might lie.
