No you have to drop your gas tank clean it out. if you didn't start then just clean gas lines. if you started it then you need a new engine. the sugar gets in the engine and turns to syrup. bad engine.

You have to drain remove fuel tank it has to be washed clean out.replace fuel filter flush out fuel injectors.probably have to replace fuel filter twice..engine need flushing.drain out about 1/2 quart engine oil.pour bottle engine flush in crankcase you can buy it at any auto parts stores pour engine flush down crankcase make sure engine oil level at full mark on dip stick.if all is good start engine let it idle until engine warm up allowing engine flush circulate flush out sugar residue in engine.when done turn off engine you need to change engine oil and oil filter.NOTE DONT USE ENGINE FLUSH IF ENGINE OIL NOT BEEN CHANED A LONG TIME BECAUSE ENGINE FLUSH WILL THIN OUT ENGINE OIL CAUSE SPIN OUT CRANKSHAFT BEARINGS.IF OIL HAS NOT BEEN CHANGED JUST CHANGE OIL FILTER AND CHANGE OIL DONT USE NO ENGINE FLUSH.

Sorry, if you turned your ignition on you will have to flush your whole system. The answer is yes to the pump. And will clog up everything in your fuel system.

SOURCE: sugar in gas tank

if it still starts then your ok.remove gas tank and dump fuel.clean out any sugar on bottom of tank.go throuh the fuel pump hole. use a water hose if needed then let it dry.fill up tank and just run it it will be ok. what sugar does to an engine [and never mind myth busters, they are wrong] ive seen it 4 times, someone in town was having fun with sugar in the tank.anyways with enough sugar in gas tank the sugar disolves in the fuel.then engine, especially the valve stems get hot and sugar becomes a molten goo on the parts, valves, pistons, cylinders, fuel injectors.only the hot parts seem to be effected. then when you turn the engine off the sugar cools and becomes hard like a piece of hard candie.the valve stems are now locked into valve guides and cannot open or close,it takes alot more driving to damage pistons and rings only a little sugar is injected on every intake stroke and its aimed right at the valve stem.one mile of driving i dought will cause problems. beware that if the sugar was poured it dry you will need to flush out the filler neck.if it was dry then very little got in the tank anyway, unless you put gas in it after sugar was added

Steering wandering had ball joints track rod ends done for mot last couple of years tracking been done cars wanders when driving quite scary

There are many reasons for wandering, I should highly recommend you do some serious looking before you drive any trips, or any higher speeds until you have the front end checked by a reputable mechanic (one highly recommended.)
Here are some reasons for wandering.
1) A bad tire (the tire can look fine, but be bad.)
2) A bad "front end alignment".
This is repairable, but good shops will not fix it until and unless the whole "front end of the car" is in good order.
3) A worn component in the "front end".
God bless your efforts.

I was just driving and the abs and tc instrument lights came on. I turned off the motor and restarted it and they went off. should I be worried by continuing driving it home.

seems like ur starting to have an intermittent fault, which will eventually leave the light on all the time.u need to check ur ecm for any stored codes chances are their in there.if they come on ur car is still drivable, but without abs action (inop abs) and without traction control which would cause wheel slippage under certain conditions. car is drivable but a diagnostic test should b done to the system asap.

The service suspension system light came on this today on my way to work. Is this still drivable and or should I head to the dealers? thanks Todd

Yes , it is drivable , check your milage and see if you are ready for an inspection. Sometimes these systems are set for a certain distance or time . If it is not , take it to be seen soon , could be air ride not leveling and will in some way affect the drivability !

Need to have key made

If your vehicle is drivable then take it to a dealership and they will look at your vehicle identification number and make you a key.If it is not drivable then write down the vin number and take some identification showing that you own the vehicle and they will cut you a key.It will have to be reprogrammed.Hope this helps and let me know if you have anymore questions.Good luck.

Have a 1996 jeep grand cherokee zg model

The Jeep has steering idlers (short 7" arms) that eliminate wandering. Sounds like they are worn but FIRSTLY check that you have 4 identical tyre pressures as just one tyre front or back being low will give you the wandering sensation in a 4x4
