Would need my head under the bonnet to find the answer ,from your description it could now be a injector who knows but take the plug out and see if its all wet and black then go from this point as fault could be a coil pack /valves or fuel injector but as you havent stated year then again it could have a coil on each cylinder or a remove coil pack as you stated it has HT leads (wires)

SOURCE: multiple cylinder misfire detected

Thank you for all the information. I don't see how you made it worse unless the injectors were not installed correctly. If you remove them you are suppose to replace the o-ring on each of them and oil them (the o-rings) before installing them. I would check the air filter and the CAT (for excessive back pressure. Also check the rest of the exhaust for damage. If a pipe is kinked or flattened it would need repair. Also GM's are known for some issues with there e-vap systems. You may want to check it out. The gas cap, charcoal canister, vacuum lines. Well good luck.

SOURCE: i own a 96 chevy k1500 5.7 l vortec and have a no 5 cyl misfire

It could be a faulty fuel injector, try running a fuel injector cleaner through your fuel system. At worst the poppet nozzle has gone bad and will need to be replaced, you can buy the poppet nozzle it self individually at Auto Zone or buy upgrade MFI system which is much better and less pron to fuel leaking room a cracked poppet line or nozzle which will cause what you have described.

SOURCE: 1998 Chev Astro 4.3L AWD. Rough idle & misfire Cylinder 6

Hi, the 4.3 liters have an injection system on them that can leak and will show up as a misfire. it is common but elusive to find. you might consider taking the van to a repair shop to have the problem diagnosed and go on from there.

SOURCE: 5.3 L Missing and Rough Idle Intermittently

i have a 2001 chevy z-71 5.3L. I keep getting a random/multiple misfire code for cylinder 1 . I have replaced plugs, wires, coil pack(only on #1 cylinder)., and fuel pump. I still keep getting the cylinder 1 misfire code. I put truck on a scanner and watched the cylinders. # 1 misfires at idle but quickly stops misfiring at around 1000 rpms. you can here the engine miss at idle but truck runs great on road . anyone else ever had this problem?

2003 acura tl error codes po301 po302 po304 po306 p1399 po300

PO300 and P1399 are random cylinder misfire detected.
PO301 cylinder 1 misfire
PO302 cylinder 2 misfire
PO304 cylinder 4 misfire
PO306 cylinder 6 misfire
I would say that you have damage to the ignition wiring harness or you ECM is failing.

2000 Dae Woo lanos 1.5L have a DTC code P0304

PO304 is a cylinder misfire on #3 cylinder-- IF-- the code is correct

Nothing to do with gas quality
Doubt a Spark plug is bad

If the Plugs have been in the motor over 3 years, change them

Plug Wire or Ignition Module, whatever you have, would be more
likely

Go with new spark plugs, new ignition wires & front oxygen sensors

Po304

PO304--- Possible Bad Ignition Coil on cylinder #4

PO136-- O2 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2)

Could be sensor or wiring or misfire or other items

You should have changed the front or upstream O2 sensors
on all your vehicles at 100,000 miles

The coil code may or may not be correct
You have to diagnose cylinder misfires

I would suggest a repair shop & they have to use a scan tool
in Mode #06 on a road trip of at least 20 miles, to check for
cylinder misfire counts or use an oscilloscope on a road test

If replacing the coil on #4 resolves the issue, it was just luck,
& luck only goes so far

I had a coil in June that no professional test equip found
I had to walk a new one one cyl at a time

Code po304 car wont start

cylinder 4 misfire ,now if this is a GM product then i think you may need a reconditioned ECU init as if this is the 4 cyl engine and its same as the opel astra and zafiro and the vectra then its a common fault with a 2000 to 2004/5 model the computer is bolted to the engine inlet manifold and very weak and susceptable

I have a 1996 crown vic i need to know these touble codes po305 po304

P0304 means that cylinder 4 has a misfire and P0305 is a cylinder 5 misfire. What this means is you may have bad spark plugs, or bad plug wires, or you may need to replace your distributor cap and rotor. I would start with plugs and wires.

Im working with a 2006 mini cooper and engine light comes w po304 code the car runs fine no misfire at all, plugs r new

Code P0304 Indicates a misfire in cylinder 4. The computer will notice these long before they get bad enough for the driver to notice. Check your plugs and plug wires for thightness. I know from expierence that "New" parts does not mean "Good" parts.

If you have access to a scan tool still.... swap the #1 and #4 plugs and if you still get a P0304 reading you know the misfire is likely in the #4 cyl. wiring. (A faulty injector could cause a misfire but it's less likely a culprit than the wiring)
If you get P0301 code after you swap the plugs.. then you'll know it's a faulty plug.

sorry for the long winded advice.
