2000 Honda Odyssey making squealing noise when I turn

Makes a squealing noise when I turn, it stops when I hit the breaks. Sounds like it is coming from the driver's side front tire.

Sounds like the brake pad wear indicator tab on the inner brake pad as the pads sometimes wear out unevenly due to stiky brake calliper slides. You would have to remove the wheel to inspect it.

Testimonial: "Thanks, the pad on the right is totally gone. Hoping this is all that it was. "

Changed the pads. It has stopped squealing, but now it's knocking. What should I do next?

SOURCE: strange noise from front drivers side after approaching 30mph.

Try checking the CV axle for a torn rubber boot over the knuckle, and also jack and shake the wheel up, down, left and right, as you may have a bad wheel berring or something else in the front end. Also check the strut, see if it's leaking, and also check the spring for breakage.
Hope this helps you out!

Lots of squeaking noise especially when making turns and on take off from full stop.

Sounds like your fan belt and tensioner needs to be changed. Check your tension pully, they are known to fail and the belts start to slip. good luck and hope this will help you.
