hi chris , is this a digital dual climate control system , and and 1 side is set for heat and the other for cold ? i don't see any technical bulletins for this issue , otherwise a blend door must be inop . time for the cadillac dealership . J5

On my wifes 03' Yukon the rear air conditioning blows hot air no .... Pull the panel off and look at the hot/cold actuator shown in the picture.
i just bought a 98 park ave and i had the iossue of hot on passenger side and cold out the driv ers i was told i had to replace the control head and both accuators...... i did a trani flush and it fixe my problem
The blend door for the passenger side is not connected right or functioning correctly. Try seeing if the dial on the armrest on the passenger side is not rotated one way or the other too much.
My 02 Century has dual temp controls . One for driver for passenger. Make sure you don't have the dual climate enabled and just set for heat on your side and AC on the passengers
The doors that open and close in the heater control unit are ran by motors. It sounds like a motor has quit in yours. When turning on the defrosters the motor closes the door to the heat for the floor
i've been down here too myself, and discovered that the temp control motor, located in the bottom of the glove box, which you can access by clearing all your stuff in in and opening a small door. you can adjust it manually, and see if it changes, if yes, the switch can be defective, as well as the motor, the switch is the most likely problem. but adjust it manually first.
its likley to be the pipe has been riped off or fell off or its the flaps on the heater box its self not opening,,,have a look under the dash to fine any pipes that are off the heater box,,
anyhow, who cears if the passanger gets cold,,, its the driver who needs to keep warm!!!!
unless its the other half? or worse still its the mother in law!!!! ho ho ho!
