04 Dodge 3500 w/ 5.9 cummins difficult starting

Engine started fine. Now takes 5 to 8 tries (when warm, more when cold). Spins over good, tries to start but sputters and dies. When it does finally start, it idles at low rpms (@ 400) for about 5 or 6 second then idles up to normal rpms and runs fine until I shut it off. I can try to crank it immediately or wait 15 mins, it will do the same thing.

2003 dodge 3500 5.9 cummins code po 1652......... need helpppp

there is a reported issue with wire harnesses.
this repair will require systematically working through.
My first guess would point to a module with a bad solder joint.

Cummins diesel in 2001 Dodge is cutting out and mild surge. code#s are P0500,P0370 P1693

you have codes related to the pcm, transfer pump and a vehicle speed sensor. these could be related or all individual issues. related issued could be wiring, untill you start doing testing it will be hard to tell.
start cheap and test the speed sensor first, then you can clear the codes and continue on any codes come back.

Disconnect the PCM harness connector(s).
Disconnect the Vehicle Speed Sensor harness connector.
Note: Check connectors - Clean/repair as necessary.
Measure the resistance of the 5 Volt Supply circuit between the VSS harness
connector and the PCM harness connector.
Is the resistance above 5.0 ohms?

I need the procedure for changing the head gasket on a cummins b engine in a 1995 dodge pickup

Sorry you are having trouble.
This is a major under job. You did not specify the engine size.
A manual will be a great help to you but I will tell you the basics
Remove the exhaust from the head (difficult)
Remove the intake manifold(difficult)
Remove everything else connected to the head(difficult)
Remove head(easy)
Install new gasket (easy)
Put it all back together
I hope this helps
