You will have to have a Jeep/Chrysler/Dodge service tech hook up their programed OBD2 scanner to reset.

I am having trouble programming a key less entry remote for a 2002 grand am

How are you doing it ?
Transmitter Programming
Important: All transmitters that are to be recognized by the remote control door lock receiver (RCDLR) must be programmed in a single programming sequence. If the system is placed in program mode, all previously programmed transmitters will be erased upon receipt of the programming signal from the first transmitter.
Up to 4 transmitters can be programmed. Do not operate or program the transmitters in the vicinity of other vehicles that are in the keyless entry program mode. This prevents the programming of the transmitters to the incorrect vehicle. The order in which the transmitters are programmed is important. The first transmitter programmed will be transmitter #1, and the second transmitter programmed will be transmitter #2. Use care to program the transmitters correctly.
The scan tool must stay connected until all of the transmitters are programmed.
Install a scan tool.
Turn ON the ignition with the engine OFF.
With the scan tool, select Body, go to Remote Function Actuation.
Select Special Functions.
Select Program Key Fobs.
Select the number of key fobs to be programmed.
Press and hold the LOCK and the UNLOCK buttons simultaneously on the first transmitter for approximately 15 seconds. The power locks should cycle to confirm programming of the first fob is complete.
If you are programming more than one transmitter, repeat the previous step to program up to 4 transmitters.
Remove the scan tool.
Exit the vehicle. Attempt to lock/unlock the doors to verify the programming.
Operate the transmitter functions in order to verify correct system operation.

I would try reprogramming the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitters before looking for anything else. Make sure the batteries in the RKE transmitters are good and replace them if in doubt. Here's the procedure for programming the RKE transmitters.

Up to 4 Transmitter Identification Codes (TIC's) can be programmed into the receiver at any given time.

1. Open the driver's door of the vehicle. Leave it open through the programming procedure.
2. Move the mechanical door lock lever to the LOCK position.
3. Insert the ignition key and turn it to the RUN position.
4. Turn the ignition to the RUN position. Within 20 seconds, aim a transmitter at the receiver dome and press the lock button, for at least 5 seconds. Once the receiver accepts the programming code the driver's door will unlock.
5. Once the first transmitter has been programmed, additional transmitters (up to 4) may be programmed into the receiver. Within 20 seconds of the previous transmitter programming, move the mechanical door lock lever to the Lock position. Aim another transmitter at the receiver dome and press the LOCK button for at least 5 seconds. The door lock will cycle again.
6. To lock the programmed codes into the receiver, the ignition must be turned off and back on within 20 seconds after programming the last transmitter's code. At that time, all previous codes are erased from the module.

If the alarm still doesn't work correctly, you probably have a bad Alarm Module. If you wanna download this procedure, clic the image.

How do you program the remotes for keyless entry with a 200 pontiac grand am?

Transmitter Programming
No Tools Required
In the event that a transmitter is lost, program the old and the new transmitters into the memory of the remote control door lock receiver. Up to 4 transmitters may be programmed.

Important
Once the keyless entry receiver enters the programming/diagnostic mode, the programming of the first transmitter erases all previous transmitter programming information. You must then program all of the transmitters.

Program only 1 vehicle remote control door lock receiver at a time. If you program multiple receivers simultaneously, the same transmitter could possibly be programmed to more than 1 remote control door lock receiver.

Perform the following steps:

Sit in the vehicle driver's seat.
Remove the ignition key from the ignition lock cylinder.
Close all of the vehicle's doors.
Remove the MALL PGM fuse from the fuse panel. Refer to Electronic Diagnosis in Body and Chassis.
Turn the ignition lock cylinder to the ACC position.
Turn the ignition lock cylinder OFF, then back to ACC within 1 second.
Open and then close any vehicle door. You will hear a chime when the remote control door lock receiver enters the programming/diagnostic mode. If you do not hear a chime, start again at step 1.

Important
After 7 seconds, you may hear a chime confirming successful synchronization. After approximately 14 seconds, you will hear a chime confirming successful programming.

Press and hold the transmitter LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously for 14 seconds.
Repeat step 8 in order to program each additional transmitter.
Remove the ignition key from the ignition lock cylinder.
Install the MALL PGM fuse back into the fuse panel. Refer to Electrical Diagnosis in Body and Chassis.
Validate that all the transmitters that were programmed operate properly. Refer to Keyless Entry System Operation

Can not disarm alarm on 2002 jeep grand cherokee

First, try to re-programme the RKE (Remote Keyless Entry) transmitters before searching for anything else. Assure that the batteries in the transmitters are in working condition and replace them if you are not sure. To pro-gramme the transmitters, perform the following:

Open the driver's door and let it be open throughout the programming process. Then, shift the mechanical door lock lever to the LOCK mode, turn the ignition key to the rUN mode. Within a period of twenty seconds, point a transmitter at the receiver dome and push the lock button for a period of five seconds at least. After the receiver has accepted the programming code the driver's door will unlock on its own. The first transmitter has been programmed, in the same extra transmitters up to four may be programmed in the same way, within twenty seconds.
If the alarm does not work properly, you may have a faulty alarm module and may have to be replace and its common problems with and older model. the systems work like a security systems, if you arms your system with the remote you have to disarm it also with the remote in order for the engine to start and run. The logic in the PCM prevents the VTSS engine no-run feature from arming until the engine start; Its one of the security systems jeep has and if you ask for my opinion its junk. hope that help some..

Notes SYNCHRONIZATION (ROLLING CODE) BUTTON TRANSMITTERS
The transmitter code will go out of synchronization if the button is pressed more than 255 times outside the range of the receiver which is inside the Door Module. In other words the transmitter will not work. To synchronize the code of the particular transmitter with the receiver, press and hold both lock and unlock buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds . Release the buttons and wait until the doors unlock indicating that the code has been synchronized. This may require waiting for as long as 6 minutes .
