Looking for the location of the oil filter on 2001 Jaguar v6 S-Ty

this is mounted on the air intake pipe from the air filter to the plenam chamber

try looking under the car following the fuel lines

the pollen filter housing is near the firewall,and the air cleaner is located in the air box induction housing...do you have a owners manual?If not send me your email adddress I will send you a link to down load one.

first you must change with the newer oil and filter shift than check up again if the problem persist than need to change the pressure disc inside the shift boxes remember there are to chamber to change oil , the oil must be dextron 3 AFT

If this is the V6 engine, your oil filter should be a canister type filter, it should be located on the passenger side, underneath at the front of the engine. You should see what looks like a black cap (about the size of an oil filter) your oil filter is located inside this canister. Hope this helps.
