Whenever I turn the headlights on, the interior lights go on and stay on. Cannot turn them off until I turn headlights off.
I had the same problem for months. Finally took it to the dealer. The first time, they diagnosed is as a short in the rear interior bulb, and put in a new bulb. Got it home and still had the same problem.
The second time in, they figured things out. On the dash to the left of the steering wheel is a knob that controls the brightness of the dash lights. But, if this knob is all the way on, it turns on the interior lights and keeps them on. Just had to turn this knob down, and the problem was solved!
Sound like a manufacturer problem go straight to kia dealership explain to them whats going on/ when you bought the vehicle was it doing it then
