The oil light came on so filled up with oil then it started to lose power the oil filter fell off sorted that out and drove great on flat but when went to go up a hill it just lost power

The first thing you need to check is fuel pressure. If you don't have a fuel pressure gauge you can buy one from a tool supplier, but the gauge may costs more than the diagnosis from a shop.
Another thing you may want to check is you catalytic convertor to make sure that it is not plugged.

It sounds like a tranny problem. Without more info kinda hard to diagnose. The simplist thing to check is tranny fluid. If its low, going up a hill will pull fluid out of the torque converter. It could be the converter itself. It could possibly a fuel problem, but unlikely. Hope this helps. John...

Replace fuel filter, spark plugs and definately plug wires. You should also make sure intake filter is clean and clear.
