Have you checked the positive connection from battery to starter? this connection has another feed that runs the rest of the car. Its either loose or corroded. Take battery terminals off and soak in baking soda, water and 2 drops of dishwashing detergent. If any corrosion is present this mixture will foam and remove your corrosion.
Its odd that car dies Are you sure you do not have a dead cell in the battery?

Check all wires running to battery. Check the battery ground(black) cable for sure. Make sure it is getting a good ground. If necessary unbolt the ground and clean up with a wire brush or wheel.

Hello, There is a fuel cutoff switch in the drivers side of the trunk. It is referred to as the Inertia sensor. It will detect an impact and disconnect the power to the fuelpump.
If you look at the drivers side of the carpeted trunk there will be a slot in the carpet or a hole. All you need to do is push on the switch button and the system will reset. If you have air ride the Inertia switch is next to it.
