These windows are in-op in open position. i checked pass side fuse panel and fuse was good. i checked fuse box under hood and seemed to be fine. power side door working, heater blower working, instrument cluster lights working. it was freezing outside and could not spend too much time checking it out. i am thinking it is the switch on the overhead console but not sure on how to pull panel down.since it was cold i figured i would wait to find out proper procedure for removal to avoid the possibility of it cracking. any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks.

I had the same problem. You can't take the panel off without having the hatch open. I had to pull it loose
under the window and squirt about a hole can of WD-40 in on all the door mechanism. When I got it open I found out that there is a hole in the bottom of the door about the size of a quarter that would allow
gravel dust and stuff in and rust the components and the lock making the door stay locked all the time.
After the wd-40 I pushed the lock & unlock button many times and it finally unlocked. I then opened the hatch and removed the panel and then I unhooked the lock motor so that it would not happen again.
It has been that way for 4 years now with no problem.

When you remove the instrument cluster, the back side will have a printed circuit board that the bulbs and bulbs holders twist into.

for the hood latch you may be able to reach up between the grill and condenser to where the latch is and pull on the cable lever to release it it' not easy but it might work for you,i had to do this to my 94,as for the electric problems there seem to be lose connections or a relay is bad, also for the battery problem the cables sometimes get battery acid going into the cable and you can't see it and it eats away at the cable inside the the insulation, you need to check all connections you can find and clean them and tighten them also have your altenator checked for proper output, auto zone should be able to check it for you for free, hope this helps.
