2003 Escalade won't start

I have a 2003 Escalade and it won't start. When I try to start it the lights and chimes come on but it doesn't even turn over. This is the 2nd time this has happened and the 1st time I was able to jump start it, and it hasn't happened again until now a couple weeks later. It won't even start with a jump start this time. I do hear the fuel pump kick on for a couple seconds so I don't think this is the problem, and the battery has 13.5 volts and I've checked all the connections, so this is not the issue either. Any suggestions?

take the cables off of the battery and look at them . see if they need cleaned anyway .. sometimes they will give you a reading but when you start the car it doesnt connect well if dirty cables ..

Test the voltage on both the batterys positive and the jumping post positive while cranking, that will tell you how much power is being drawn and where you maybe loosing it, i would replace any battery that drops below 11volts

Not enough info. But since it won't turn over now, I would suggest checking your charging system.

The no start on the first try could be low fuel pressure. The check valve in the pump may be letting fuel drain back into the tank, or the pump relay may be bad. The pump gets power from the relay when you turn the key on, then from the oil pressure switch once the engine starts.

I have a 2003 Saturn L-100 that won't turn over. Ran fine earlier in the day and doesn't seem to be the battery because lights come on when we try to start it.

those vehicles are common for starters did two today alone when it wont start try to tap it with a hammer it on the back side of the engine under the intake if it starts replace starter

The door chime on my 2003 oldsmobile alero won't stop chiming even though the car is off and the doors are all closed.

It is probably the body control module. It thinks you left the lights on or door open with key in ignition.

Do you have power?
battery might be drained cause your alternator is not charging anymore, 2003, seems about time for a new alternator, those vehicles consume lots of power cause pretty much everything is electric, lots of motors and servos, so they depend a lot on a good power source from the battery. If alternator doesnt charge it, no power...

have power system checked.

2007 HHR Radio and chimes not working

Check the radio fuse. As unusual as it seems, GM has started having the radio (even though not turned on) generate the chimes and turn signal sounds. If the radio fails, all the chimes fail too.

This applies to other vehicles besides the HHR. My 2003 Silverado had the door chimes fade down so I could barely hear them. The fix was to replace the radio (under warranty, fortunately...).

2003 Escalade ran outta gas, now engine won't turn over. Vehicle Stability Control Light is on.

try to fill out the tank and turn the key to the on position several times ,but don't crank it yet ,then turn it all the way over ,that should fill the fuel lines that were emptied.
