Possibly starter bad, bad distributor shaft or electrical short in vehicle. check connections. If getting drained when sitting, check dome light switch or starter.

300 6 cylinder,, new starter, altanator, cylinoid, regulator,, timing set an reset to 4 degrees BTDC,, cold crank will run like sewing machine,, gets warm etween n and o on gage ,, wont cank drags

It sounds to me like you have something binding up or building resistance due to heat. I have had a similar thing happen to me with different cars. It turned out to be a battery cable that was fine when cold, but when it warmed up, it would sag and touch against an exhaust pipe just enough so that when I went to start the vehicle, it would arc to the exhaust and lose battery power that was normally used for starting it. Another time it turned out to be the negative cable not making good enough contact. The Ford 300, 6cyl. engine is a very good solid dependable unit, but ford has always had quite long battery cables and issues with the way the were grounded. I would check my cables and maybe replace them for good measure. Also be certain that your negative cable is very solidly grounded to the block of the engine.

Alot of noise coming from altanator..battery will

One quick way to check the alt. is when it is running discounect the pos. cable and if the engine dies it is a bad alt. If it stays running it's good. Let me know if this was helpful.

Altanator keeps dieing.

A fresh charged battery does not mean it is a good battery. The battery is working the alternator to death, replace it,it has a bad cell,or the amps are to low,and has a short in it.The alternator senses the battery is in bad need off charge, and puts all out until the alternator has nothing left,This is the most likely cause of this problem. Also be sure the battery cable ends are shiny clean when replacing the battery.

Altanator in car is good but battery still dies

get a schematic for the car.if the alternator went,it could have taken out the 18 gauge fuse link in the feedback circuit that switches on the alternator

Car wont stay running

are all wires, and battery cables clean and tight, if so check for a bad ground in charging curcuit.
