You should have started by getting the trouble codes read. Any time you have a warning message or light, there's a trouble code stored. In the meantime see this post on this common GM issue

What is code D0131 on a 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer LS?

Don't know where you came up with this one D0131 , No such code . Now if you mean a P0131 it's for a O2 sensor
DTC P0131 HO2S Circuit Low Voltage Sensor 1
C0455
Front Steering Position Sensor Circuit
EBCM

The electronic brake control module (EBCM) receives multiple direct inputs from the steering wheel position sensor. These circuits include, two digital square wave input signals A and B. Phase A or B should toggle high and low every 2 degrees of steering wheel rotation. . The EBCM also receives one analog steering wheel position input on the steering wheel position sensor signal 1 circuit, and is compared to the digital circuits for fault detection. The analog portion of the steering wheel position sensor is supplied a 5-volt reference and low side return circuits from the EBCM. Ignition voltage and ground circuits are supplied directly to the digital portion of the steering wheel position sensor.

C0455

The code description is Front Steering Position Circuit. Your traction system has detected a fault in the steering controls system. Try driving on a straight line. Did you notice a pulling on one side? You will need to check tire pressures, proper tires, and brake system conditions. Is your steering wheel off center? Your vehicle may need wheel alignment. These are the least you can fix by yourself without a scan tool. With a scan tool, the recommendation could say a faulty sensor or module, or a wiring concern. My tip for you, the most common culprit is the steering angle sensor.

Okay, sir? goodluck and drive safely. : )
