If both heater hoses are getting hot, it could be a blend door problem under the dash.
The blend doors direct air thru the heater core and the vents.

SOURCE: a/c problem

You either have a bad control, or motor running the air direction door in the front HVAC unit, or a door that is stuck.

The front and rear units are totally separate.

The door directs where the air, cold or hot, should come out, whether it is panel vents, floor, defrost, or any combination of those.

This door and motor are located inside the heater box which usually requires a lot of the vehicle dash assembly to be taken apart to get to these parts.

HI....
The heater on your Vehicle it can be a few problems.
I will mention the Importants.

First. Check the temperature, The temperature has to be At least 140 Farenheit.
Second. With a Temperature gace check the temperature of the 2 small hoses going to the Heater core. If the Temperature is almost the same on each of the small hoses, and Close to the temperature of the engine. The circulation is good.
But if only One of the hoses are Hot and the Other no. Is because is there a restriction in the Heater core, and will be nesesary to clean or replace.

Third.. Check the Blend door actuator motor. ( Is the actuator to move from cool to hot air )
Is located at center of the Instrument panel. at lower of the Hvac housing.
Is there behind the Center console.

Ok... Check the step I giving and letme know.
Thank you for use fixya...

SOURCE: heater is blowing but its cold air not hot air 2000 expedition

Make sure the heater core is in the open position by using the shut off valve and turning it to open. next, you may have a malfunction in the direction door the directs the air flow in the dash. a lever may have become lose or separated. may be a bad servo motor not directing the door to move to the heater position. i would start by checking that shut off valve first on the heater core.

I have a 2003 Ford Expedition and the auxillary air is not working properly. No air comes out of the overhead vents and hot air comes out of the back passenger side blower. The main air is working fine. ...

Sounds like you're having issues with the mode door motors/actuators for the rear air. There are several "mode doors" that regulate the temperature and flow of the air throughout the vehicle. If theses aren't functioning correctly then you can get strange air flow like you're describing. These are generally very time consuming for a rear A/C unit. Unless you're really handy and want to try it yourself - I'd recommend taking it to your local trusty automotive repair facility so they can fully diagnose the issue and recommend a course of action for you.

My air condition is blowing hot air.

It sounds like you need to have your AC recharged by a reliable Air conditioning shop...ONLY they can do this properly...do not fall for these Do it yourself kits...they very seldom work ...

2003 ford expedition front heat and air work, but rear puts out cold when its cold out and heat when its hot out, no matter what setting.

there are 2 blend doors in back on the passenger side rear. one controls heat settings and the other mode floor or upper vents. These go bad and there is usually a clicking noise.
