And also when it touches i little dent in the road it sounds like if the tire is going to fall..I'm thinking it might be the lifters.. Can someone help me on this???

Hi, Does the car have a problem changing gears? Does the RMP fluctuate rapidly? By the way, I have the same car. I encounter almost the same problem as you. The mechanic put the car under diagnostic and that I needed to change three sensors. Of course I did not agree to that because logically it did not make sense that all three sensor failed. I took the car to another shop, they said the same thing. I am very stubborn so I did not have them change the sensors. I know the problem could be from lack of oxygen or fuel. I decide to clean the MAP sensor. As soon as I clean the sensor, the car start to run like it was a brand new car. The HP increased, the pick up increased. All because the dust built-up blocked the sensor from given an acurate reading. Let me know if your RMP is fluctuate rapidly. Thanks, Mike

SOURCE: valve clearance

tappets dont squeak .. you want to hope the noise is coming from an ageing or loose fan belt .. if it is really coming from inside the valve cover then it could be a blocked oil passage that lubs the cam and its bearings ..this would soon cause a major engine failure .. other possibilities .. a bad bearing in the idler pully, water pump or alternator (a drop of oil on those can help identify the failing bearing) ... also at times the distributor can cause noise if its bearings run dry .. there is a really neat stethoscope like tool that allows you to listen to various parts and places to locat the problem .. but be careful playing around a running engine (no ties, long hair, necklaces .. if its the fan belt then it will likely make more noise as the engine is accelerating .. turning the lights on might increase or change the noise .. a leaky vacuum hose can cause a whistle like sound. .

My 2015 Nissan Versa is making squeaky sound while driving

A squeaky sound coming from underneath your 2015 Nissan Versa Note, even with low mileage, can be worrisome. While it's difficult to pinpoint the exact problem without a physical inspection, I can suggest some potential causes based on your description and the symptoms:
Possible reasons:
Worn suspension bushings: These rubber parts connect various suspension components and can dry out or develop cracks over time, resulting in squeaking when they move.
Loose sway bar links: These control bars aid in stabilizing your car during turns and can become loose, leading to clunking or squeaking noises.
Loose or worn-out serpentine belt: This belt drives various accessories such as the alternator and power steering pump. When it's worn or loose, it can produce a squealing sound, particularly when starting or accelerating.
Dry or worn CV axle boots: These rubber boots protect the CV joints that transfer power to the wheels. If they are dry or torn, they can cause squeaking, especially during turns.

Additional information for diagnosis:
Does the squeaking occur consistently or intermittently?
Does the sound change in pitch or intensity when turning or braking?
Is there any noticeable vibration or pulling to one side while driving?
Have you observed any other changes in the car's handling or performance?
Recommendations:
Schedule a service appointment with a qualified mechanic: They can examine the suspension, brakes, and other potential sources of the noise and provide an accurate diagnosis.
Do not disregard the noise: Ignoring it could lead to more serious issues and costly repairs later on.
Gather any additional information you can: If the noise seems to occur under specific conditions, make a note of them to assist the mechanic in their diagnosis.
While your low mileage may suggest that the issue isn't significant, it's always best to have it checked by a professional. Early detection and repair can save you time, money, and potential safety risks in the future.

What causes a squeaky sound from the engine of an 2000 Isuzu rodeo when engine is running?

it could be one of the belts. if you put a little wax or brake fluid on the belt in a couple of places and the squeak goes away then you either have a loose belt/s or the belts/s need replacing. if no change it could be the timing belt making the noise.

Front Left side wobbly and there is a squeeky noise when driving

Have you checked the tires ?
Sometimes a wobble can be a broken belt inside the tire tread.
Or it could be something loose in the hub.
You could also switch the front and rear tire to see if the wobble moves.

My friend just install a serpantine tensioner pully & a belt on my 2000 2.4 grand am... but since then there's an annoying squeaky noise whenever I'm driving... he told me it will stop after a while b

double check the belt length if its too short even a little it can cause a squeak.also make sure there is no oil on any of the pulleys as well make sure the tensioner was installled properly and the pulley is the correct one.this does happen if someone doesn`t take the time to make sure of this and assumes they have been given the correct parts.

Loud squeaky noise from front tires when turning and somtimes whe

Hi my name is Tom and I can help you.

Driving with your emergency brake on is only going to affect your rear brakes. There is a cable running from the emergency brake lever to your rear brakes.

You did not say how long you drove with the emergency brake on, but even a short distance and you forced the front brakes to do the work of stopping the car. This causes overuse which translates to heat. When the brakes over heat they "fade" and do not stop the car effectively.

In addition the heavy load of doing all the stopping causes the brakes not to realign. Therefore, when you go around corners the brakes pads will rub against the rotors.

I would suggest you get the brakes looked at or look at them yourself. I can help you do the job but I would need to talk to you directly. Let me know what I can do to help.
