I took the car to the auto repair shop a few weeks ago due to an oil leak. While repairing the leak they found that I needed a new timing belt, driving belt, and front motor mounts. I replaces all of it but now I've noticed that when I accelerate suddenly like trying to get on to the high, it slows down and jerks.

Check your wires, plugs and coils. I think it is an ignition problem myself. Something is breaking down under a load. My guess would be a bad coil or wire, the hard starting could be a symtem of this also, As I first read your description I was thinking maybe a leaking fuel injector or faulty fuel injector, but I believe it is in the ignition system. I hope this Helps! Merry Christmas!

Most likely it's the heater coil leaking inside the car. This is located inside the heater/AC unit up under the dash. This is where the heat comes from when the heater is on.

Hi
If you took the car into this Garage , for just the timing belt, and then after there repair, you developed the overheating, then the problem should lie with them.
Did the car ever overheat before you took it too them ?
If not, go back and ask to see the Service Manager, and give him your grievance, that if they do not fix it, you will sue !
Good Luck !
P.S. Don´t forget to give me a rating please !
John.
