We put on the bypass pulley and now the fans are not running. Does anyone know what it could be?

I don't think you can bypass the compressor.
Chrysler would have to build a model without ac and as far as I know they all have ac.
When they do have an engine without ac they usually have an idler pulley to take the place of the compressor.
Re-routing the belt runs the risk of turning the alternator or water pump in the wrong direction.

SOURCE: need diagram for 2000 dodge dakota serpentine belt

On the 1999 Dakota with the 3.9liter, the fan shroud absolutely DOES NOT have to be removed. Very simple job. Simply use a breaker bar with a 15mm socket on the belt tesioner pulley nut. Using the breaker bar push (as though tightening) the pulley nut...the reaction will be that the tensioner removes tension from the pulley and the entire belt can be removed by easily slipping it toward the front of the vehicle...comes right off. The new belt can go back on in exactly the same manner. By the way the belt routing diagram IS CONVIENENTLY LOCATED between the hood latch and the radiator mounting for simple and quick refernce...one person job, I did removal and installation four times in less than 10 minutes. (why four times? The auto parts store was selling replacement belts that were too long and did not allow the belt tensioner to provide suffiecient tension...I had to try four different manufacturers before the tensioner was adequately tight with room to grow as the belt naturally stretches from use.). I found no stringing around the fan is required because of the way the belt is routed (it doglegs around the main engine pulley which is centered below the fanhousing and then the belt runs from there to the left side of the fan housing...avoiding the fan/fanhousing all-together (sure you can try to go past the fan/fan housing if you so desire...but you dont have to...and besides the space between the pulleys and the fan is ample to allow the belt to pass between with minimal interference or a simple rotation of the fan as you attempt this method. One hint that made my installs easy as pie...the last pulley you put it over should not be a bezeled and ridged pulley or you will needlessly make life difficult for yourself...the last pulley should be the water pump pulley which is a smooth bore and non-ridged pulley (makes you wonder how the belt even stays on it!)...making it easy as pie to slip it right over...as your last act of defiance to that mean old serpentine belt!

SOURCE: 94 park avenue ac compressor locked up can i bypass?

there should be a manual bypass to remove the clutch to the compressor otherwise measure the belt and go about 10 inches or shorter (just a hint to get the belt off use the tire iron wrench and push the tension pulley toward the cab of the car the thread is reversed)

SOURCE: need to bypass ac compressor on a1997 chevy lumina 3.1l

I doubt anyone knows that off the top of their head. You could run a string through the path you want the belt to take and measure how much string it takes. This will give you an approximate length for the belt -- most parts stores could find one close to that size.

SOURCE: bypass ac compressor 2006 dodge ram 3500 5.9 L

Hi:
The easiest method to do this is to go to an auto parts store and buy a belt designed for a truck with no air conditioning. The belt will be the right size, and you just install it as normal, and bypass the compressor

Can I use a short serpentine belt. AC compressor isn't working.

I have a 2000 E430. I just did this job because my ac compressor froze. I went to O'reilly and bought a serpentine belt 6pk2310.(different brand has it as k0910). The numbers after the part number is the length in mm or inches. Eg. 0910 = 91 inches == 2810mm. Just follow the diagram and bypass the ac compressor. Tools: 15mm wrench for the pulley tensioner. It took me 5 minutes to do this job and be on the road again. It is very easy.
On the Right is the normal diagram.

On the left is how you bypass the AC compressor on a E320/E430 2000-2002 engine.

Ac pulley

The pulley can be replaced you can't get another belt, they do not make one. Even cars without AC have the same belt, in the place of the AC compressor is a "AC Delete" pulley.

I need a Diagram on the Serpentine belt for an 2002 Eclipse. I need to know how to bypass the AC compressor.

The compressor cannot be by-passed, but you can disconnect the compressor clutch by disconnecting the two wire connector at the compressor; then the compressor pulley is just an idler.

My belt siezed and broke off earlier there was a grinding rattle in engine for past few days and my ac hasnt worked for more than a month

grinding noise was probably a bearing in ac compressor, when it froze up completely it stopped turning causing extreme wear on the belt ..so it broke... check ac compressor out , could be bearing only ..could be whole compressor ..have it fixed...when compressor is removed the hoses have to be disconnected of course so if it still has refrigerant in it, that will need to be recovered at a shop..the ac system will have to be vacuum pumped down and recharged anyway.

Help!! Broke a belt on our Jeep Cherokee 4wd 2000. Air cond clutch froze in place need to by pass, what belt do,or can I use

if the ac compressor won't turn even with the engine off,it's not the compressor but the freewheel bearing inside the pulley,
even if the compressor is bad ,changing the bearing will allow the serp belt to turn the pulley.
I'd just change the bearing .

Ac compressor froze up. can I bypass with a different belt?

Not usually. It is a serpentine belt system and needs every pulley to be able keep proper tension and to drive all accessories. Did you recenctly have your ac system recharged?

I have a 2000 plymouth voyager mini van v6 3.3 l . the air compressor locked up broke belt. i am looking for a diagram to replace belt. also can i bypass the compressor by using a belt for a model that...

There should be a diagram under the hood. If not go to your local auto parts house and ask for them to help. They will. Yes you can bypass the AC compressor by getting a belt for a model with out air but you may or may not have to modify the pullys by adding a idler pully if the set up will allow. I would recomend calling a chrysler dealer and asking them they should be able to tell you and it is free. You can't beat free

A/c mount broke off the actual compressor, no way to attach to engine mount, has a serpentine belt , can i get a belt shorter that will bypass the ac.

You can buy an A/C bypass pulley from an O'reilly auto or anyone that supplies Dorman parts. the pulleys are cheap and allow you to mount things and use the stock serp belt. You will have no AC ,though. The kit is designed with the intent of eliminaing the compressor, which is very expensive to replace.
