I've noticed lately when I locked the car with the FOB it doesn't unlock easily, so I use the key. I went to put the key in the ignition today and it won't turn. Then alarms started to go off. Still can't get they key to turn. Was not given an extra key when I bought the car at the dealership.

if battery is dead you will not be able to get key out. have someone jumpstart and it should work

Are you using the original key that came with the car? The chip in that key may have gone bad. Try using the spare key that should have come with the purchase of the car. You may also be having battery issues. If all else fails....call the people who really know how to rape you...DUM Dum dummmmm....the dealer

try unhooking the negative cable on the battery and let it sit for an hour this should reset the computer

For me, this problem was covered by my chevy dealership since it involves a recalled part. Apparently we aren't alone :) thank god

sounds like your steering column lock is binding you need to slightly turn the steering one way or the other while turning the key at the same time. this happens if the steering wheel is turned after removing the key. or when parked against a curb.
