I have a 97 Jeep Grand Cheeroke. Just replaced the fuel pump and fixed problem for a little while. Its been in the teens the past week or so and every morning my truck wont start. i have fuel pressure and the car cranks and tries to fire. Trying to jum it doesnt seem to help either. I added IsoHeet to it and sometimes it fixes it and sometimes it doesn't. The battery has around 10-12 volts when trying to start it. Also, i have a full tank of gas.
Any ideas?
Is it fuel injected or carb??? Try holding the gas pedal to the floor while turning the jeep over. This sometimes makes gas pump thru to the cylinders. Have you changed the fuel filter???? I know alot of jeeps have a fule filter with a bypass back to the tank, and sometimes the filter will be bypassing to the tank instead of the the motor. Check it out?????

My Jeep Grand Cherokee will not start as from last evening. Had to get it towed home. No petrol appers to be getting through to the engine. Is this the petrol pump? Would appreciate ideas.
Get some better voltage in front of the starter and computer. 10 volts is not really enough to keep a computer-managed car running. If jumping does not help, as you said, clean those connections where the cable meets the battery post. Test battery charge capacity, and go from there. Good luck.
