Need find location of heater blower motor in a dodge grand caravan 2006

    Anyone know anything about the heater fan or resistor for a grand caravan and how one would fix them selves. Money tight and mother of 5.

    My blower in my 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan front heating system won't work. It just stopped blowing. Hot air floats out of it, so I know it is heating, but It won't blow. Any ideas? My husband already changed the relay.

The resistor is behind your glove box. open the box and push in the sides to release it and let it hang down...the resistor is right there. I didn't try to replace it, a friend did it, but the part was under $20.

    Glove box does not collapse possible different model, this is a straight truck model 337. Anyhow did not find resistor behind glove box any suggestion?

Passenger side under the dash ... look on the duct work in that arear.

    missed part of the question... locate the fan and follow the duct work... you will see a connector going into the duct work near the fan... two or three bolts hold it in... unhook the battery first and if it as been on recently it is hot

Where is the frint a.c.blower located on 2005 dodge caravan.
The blower fan is located under the right side of the dash, there is a plastic panel that will need to be removed from under the glove box area to gain access to it. These vans had problems with the blower motor resistors causing the fan to operate on high only, if this is the problem, replace the resistor, not the blower

The Blower Motor Resistor is located behind the glove box on the dash. Remove the whole glove box to access. The Resistor is mounted against/sort of into the fire wall.
1. Disconnect the negative side of battery.
2. Disconnected the Electrical Connection to the Resistor.
3. Remove the bolts/screws. I believe they have 8mm heads, there should be 2 of them.
4. Replace with new one/Replug electrical connection.
5. Reconnect the negative side last.
6. Test System before putting the glove box back in!
The Blower Motor is easy (compared to $1000) to remove and replace.

The blower motor resistor is located on the dash panel, on passenger compartment, right behind the glovebox. The resistor is mounted on a plate assembly that can be removed as shown on picture below:

Sounds like you need to replace the Blower Motor Resistor. It is located on the bottom of the heater box about where the passengers left foot would rest, behind glove box. It has 2 screws holding it on.

Trouble shooting blower motor on 1997 dodge gran caravan
Check the heat/ac relay first making sure it is working.remove it clean the contacts and reattach. Then check the Resistor component. It is usually located near the blower or on the blower motor itself.It is attached with a couple of screws and a plug between the blower motor and the wiring. Please vote if this helps you.

A/c heater fan no blow
sounds to me like the blower motor resistor, and if I'm not mistaken the resistor and the blower motor are located under the dash on the passengers side. the resistor should have a wiring connection and 2 screws attaching it to the blower case. The a/c and heater blower will not work if the resistor goes out. hope this helps you out a little. Best wishes.

you can go to Alldata.com to subcribe to the factory manual, but you need the blower motor resistor, a dealer item. And typically its located by the blower mounted to the blower housing.

If you are looking for the fan blower resistor, it is located behind the glove box. No tools need to get to it and a nut driver to remove the 2 screws to replace it. A 20$ part.
