The bottom radiator hose is probably split...youll want to have someone look at it but thats what it sounds like

My wife has a 2007 chevy impala on idle it is not blowing warm air when you drive down the road it blows warm air you can smell anti freeze but see no leaks what is problem

It sounds to me like you are possibly describing a low coolant condition caused by a leaking heater core. If you can smell the antifreeze, there is a leak. You just have not checked good enough.

Over heating and leaking somewhere underneth the motor .2003 chevy impala, replaced the temperture gage no smoke but smells like coolant

If its the 3.1 or 3.4 they almost always leak under the intake where the intake touches the engine block..Sometimes they even leak internally and could get in your oil..You really need to pressurized the cooling sytem to know exactly wheres its coming from..Sometimes if leaks are small they can hit hot parts of the engine and burn off before you can catch it..So if you use a pressure checker youll be able to find it..I would try autozone they have some tools you can rent for free just leave a deposit

Check engine licht comes on after driving for a few days wat do i look for?

check your thermostat and make sure you have antifreeze 50/50. My 2000 Chevy impala was blowing cold air, but the previous owner had put some radiator stop leak in the radiator that clogged the whole system. I used a garden hose and flushed the heater core and the water pump.

My temperature gage is going over in the red and my heat is not

Check the sensor which controls the cooling fans that cools the radiator it prevents the engine from over heating and allows the temp gauge to stay at normal range.recently had problems with my 2003 impala overheating it was the sensor had the thermostat replace as well.

Heater is blowing luke warm air. does not get any hotter

Quite a few idea's come to mind.
1) Thermostat is stuck open, causing the engine to run cool.
2) The vacuum valve that opens and closes the air "flap" is stuck open, allowing cool air in all the time.
3) The vacuum valve that opens and closes the line that feeds the heater core isn't opening all the way.

Looking at change out the coolant sensor car is over heating but first it will blow cool air before it over heats when it finals blows hot air and the therostate opens up it goes back down we have changed...

It sounds like you have a head gasket leak or an intake manifold antifreese leak. Have a coolant system pressure test performed to determine where & the extent of the leak. The 2003 impala is noted for this problem. Good luck!
