SOURCE: How do I adjust the throttle body on a 2007 toyota corolla?

There isn't an adjustment. Even if there were. You don't want to mess with it. It really depends on how you cleaned it. On Asian cars, I take the throttle body off, I also take off the idle air control motor(IAC). And clean them separate. Some Asian vehicles have the barrel type IAC, you have to clean the barrel inside and out of the barrel. A brush works on the outside of it. Ope the barrel and clean the inside with a paper clip or something similar. Use plenty of cleaner. I use break clean. When you just spray the inside of a throttle body, it loosens up carbon, that gets stuck in the IAC. Causing high idles or surges.

I have a 1992 toyota corolla dx with a manual trasmission. i am trying to locate the iac to clean it. where is it located? thanks

The idle air control valve should be on or extremely close to the throttle body. But half of it might be hidden because its inside of something so look for parts that look similar but maybe arent as big

Vehicle dies when coasting after acceleration, or when coming to a stop.

The first thing to try is to get a can of throttle body cleaner from Autozone or Walmart and clean the throttle valve and the idle speed control valve, they get get gummed up and that causes the annoying stall.

My 2001 Corolla starts fine, but sometimes when I drive it a short distance, and I have to come to a stop it will stall when I continue for a second and then the engine will return to normal. I acts like...

Please remove and check your idle control valve. It may be faulty if it hasn't been changed for a few years. It may just be dirty too.
At the same time, it's best if you remove your throttle body and give it a good clean up with a clean rag and some brake cleaner. Make sure it's spotless. Any dirt in this body can make a huge difference to idle. Good luck.

You may need to spray some WD-40 on the throttle cable and throttle body linkage. Also check inside the throttle body for carbon build up by the throttle plate and clean.
