Having trouble keeping my 98 jeep grand cherokee running

Some mornings when i put my 98 jeep grand cherokee in reverse and go to put it in drive the engine dies sometimes it will start back up and others times it won't. this morning the battery drained. when it does start sometimes you have to "two foot it' because if you are idling or a t a stop it will die. others times it runs great. and also sometimes right between 50-65 mph when you ease off the gas to slow die it jerks or lags for a second then picks back up.

I recommend cleaning the throttle plates. they are located unter the intake hose form the engine to the air filter housing. if you open them with the engine not runniong you will see they will be covered in carbon. use a good carb cleaner and a rag to wipe them clean

98 Grand Cherokee severly jolts in turns.

Generally, changing the boot over the joint is already too late to make a difference. The boot keeps out road contamination which will quickly cause the joint to fail. Putting in new grease and changing the boot will not repair the joint.

Truck stalls but stops after driving for 20 min

OK...clean out the throttle body with carb cleaner and remove idle air valve from next to the tps...don't turn the plunger when cleaning and don't loose "o" ring seal. That may help.
