My sunroof is slipping in the front when closed on my 01 Olds Aurora

I noticed when I went thru a carwash and water started coming from the over head light panel and sunroof control panel. It is not the same issue as the others have asked about. When the sunroof is completely closed, it slips down in the front. Does something need to be tighten or replaced?

SOURCE: how do u remove the rear drivers side door panel

1. Remove the two visible screws on the hinge side of the door panel 2. Remove the two (or three) visible screws on the latch side of the door panel. 3. Remove the screw in the plastic door pull recess. 4. Remove the door pull recess by extending the door pull (like you are opening the door), lifting the end of the recess that the screw was removed from and pulling the recess forward toward the door hinges. 5. Lift the plastic cap off the screw head in the 'cup' located at the rear of the power window control panel on the door and remove the screw. 6. Lift the power window control panel out of the door panel ( it puts up a fight) and disconect the two power plugs on the bottom of the assembly. 7. Using a stiff putty knife or a similar tool pry the bottom of the door panel from the door, it is secured by several plastic push in thingies. 8. Disconect the light bulb from the lower left hand corner of the door panel by twisting it a half turn and pulling straight out. 9. At this point the panel should be connected to the door at the top of the panel only. 10. There is probably a better technique but I lifted and pryed and twisted the door panel until the fasteners from Hell that connect the top of the panel to the door decided to release the panel (all the while making sure I was gentle enough not to damage the panel or the fasteners). 11. I didn't need to remove the mirror but I did notice a screw head leading to the mirror assembly that was exposed after the panel was removed. 12. While you have the panel removed you might want to lubricate as many mechanisms as you can while you have them exposed.

You can follow these instructions witch are for the front door as they are pretty much the same to undo let me know if you need further assistance ok

SOURCE: 1995 olds aurora won't start

If you havent fixed this already im sure you have found tapping on the starter is virtually impossable on an aurora. If the starter clicks but wont turn over the solinoid on the starter is bad.In an emergency you can grab the center boss of the top fan belt fully with a pair of channel locks and rotate the engine slightly. sometimes this puts the flywheel so the bendix will engage and start the engine ultimately you need to replace the starter or solinoid

Sunroof is leaking in my 2001 aurora

water leaks from your sunroof are most likely due to plugged or blocked drain tubes. make sure water with flow out of all 4 drains,2 in front and 2 in rear.pine needles and leafs will pull them and cause water to flood over the guttersand into vehicle.

2001 olds aurora running hot and i noticed fluid coming from little black box by engine, looks like antifreeze, whats deal with this?

I assume the "little black box" referred to is the front fuse panel. Next to it, towards the windshield is the coolant overflow canister. At the base of these there is a metal coolant line that is clamped to the car body. After years of vibration this starts to leak. Not too difficult to replace.

1999 Olds Aurora. Overheats after 10 min. Noticed oil film in the surge tank and in the over flow. Cooling system has been flushed, thermostat is new as is water pump. Belts have been replaced including...

10 minuts really isnt enough time to even get up to operating tempature much less overheat. I would suspect from what you describe you may have a head gasket problem. compression from the cylinder will leak into the cooling system and push out the coolant. The fact that you have oil residue may confirm this. Does the temp guage read high when this happens or a warning light come on?... im suspecting probably not. There also could be an outside chance of a cracked head or block. most likely not but always an outside chance. Good Luck!!

Code P0410

The P0410 code refers to the emissions system. The air pump puts air to the exhaust to lower emissions. It takes in outside air and pumps it through two one-way check valves into each bank of the exhaust.
About 90% of the time that this code is set, the one-way check valves have worn out or failed and allow water (which occurs naturally in the exhaust) back into the pump. In any cold climate, especially in climates with higher humidity, this water may be more excessive. The water partially fills the AIR pump, it can then freeze. When the PCM commands the pump on, if the pump is frozen it cannot turn, thus overloading the circuit and "popping" the fuse.
