well, with all that you have changed the only two possible things that are left PCM and the ECM....

Do you have an alarm system on this vehicle? If you purchased this car second hand it may have something that is inhibiting the engine from firing. From what you have told us here that would be where I would start looking.

I really hope this is helpfull

SOURCE: cranks but won't start fuel pump not coming on

put a small amount of fuel in the intake near the throttle plate then crank and see if it fires, if it does then it's a fuel problem, if it does not fire then pull a plug wire and put a philips head screw driver into the plug wire hold it 1/4 inch away from a good ground then have someone crank it over, you should see spark and it should be blue, if not then you have a ignition problem a bad coil or cam sensor but need to know what you found out on the two tests I told you first to give you a direction to go.

SOURCE: I need a fuse box diagram for a 1997 mazda protege dx

Yes - sounds like a Pump fuse, relay, or a pump...When you cycle the key (off-on-start-on) do you hear the pump running?
The fuel pump fuse may be under the hood with the other engine fuses - and it well may not be -(there is an accessory fuse box that has all the fuses for the inside accessories in it - located in the passenger compartment somewhere)- also check the kick panels at the drivers left foot and the passengers right foot -(If they pop off easily - The fuse box plastic cover will pop off easily, not attached with screws - so if you see screws or nuts, it won't be there) Look up under the dash on the drivers side, and also lastly check in the glove box- If you cannot find it, I'd see if I could find a Mazda "lovers" web-site - Often they post what is called "component locator" information, that would tell you exactally where it is (Normally you have to pay for access to that information - gotta love the web), or you may be able to locate a electronic owners manual there as well which will definitely tell you ...Best of luck and hope that helps some....

SOURCE: 1999 Mazda Protege won't start.

Recheck that the spark plug firing order or in other words the spark plug wires are in the proper order after that checks out ok, then run dry gas in the car and check all vacuum hoses there may be a vacuum leak somewhere.

Daughter's 1996 Mazda Protege won't start. Starts with starting fluid. Fuel filter and pump replaced. Fuel to fuel rail. NOID light shows injectors getting signal. Spark at plugs, new plugs. Ideas?

Well there's a few things causing fuel problems----roll over switch(no pump function)---pressure sensor and or pressure regulator sending info to ECM(no pump function)---bypass regulator(that sends excess fuel back to tank) maybe wide open--gas just going in a circle not building up pressure---since it runs on starting fluid it's defiantly fuel supply issue
