SOURCE: 2004 QX56 rear gate open alert comes on and off

Sensor is out of adjustment. Possibly from wear. The bigger question is! where is the sensor? if it is integrated into the latch mechanizm like some jeeps are then it will be a pain to fix.

SOURCE: qx56 rear dvd player will not read original discs.

Get a cleaning disk or compressed air from a computer store and blow into the disk drive and see if that works

HELP!! I have a 2005 infinity qx56 the rear ac isn't blowing but the front one is. What should I do?????

Could possibly be the rear blower motor unit and/or rear blower motor resistor, if it is separate from the rear blower motor unit.

Seeing the age of this question, was this the issue? Or, was it something else?

I have a 2002 chevy venture mini van. the rear defrost and rear windshield wiper doesnt work. possible reasons?

rear defrost will not work with the following reasons one the fuse could be burnt, 2 the wire going to the rear defrost could be broken, 3 there is a break in one of the lines on the rear window, 4 where the connector is to the rear defrost it could have either broke at the window or the solder let go

Coolant lines leading to rear heater are rotting

There should be 2 lines. All you need to do is disconnect them both and connect them together. If you don't want to do it call some shops tell them what you want to do. They will most likely charge 1 hour labor. Just tell them you want to bypass the rear heater core.

Of glass defroster rear of my car chevrolet cavalier 2004, is not working I checked the fuse box and are well need help to fix this.

Check the bigger metal leads that connect up to the thin rear defroster grid. Often there are crack lines that result in no electrical conductivity. There are repair kits available to remedy this or you can try to carefully re-solder the bigger leads but you may need the kit for the thin lines.

Fix rear defroster on 1996 jimmy

Auto part stores sell a kit to repair the copper lines across the rear window. If the lines are not complete they won't heat up. Check to make sure the wires that connect the def on the rear window are attatched. Check the fusebox to make sure it's not a broken fuse

Rear window defogger wire

You can find Loctite Rear Window Defogger Tab Adhesive, at most major auto parts stores.
It's about a $10 repair kit. The instructions are in the pack.
