I have a 2000 Dodge Durango and we have been having blinker problems too lately. Sometimes they worked, sometimes they didnt, and the other day they went out completely. They have been doing this for a...

that vehicle has a desperate relay for the hazards which is why they work, you have a defective signal flasher sometimes called a signal relay, follow the noise to locate exactly where the part is, usually under driver side of dash, it is a very cheap part and easy to install.

How do you replace the blinkers flasher under the dash on a Chev S-10?

This one may be mounted directly on the fuse box or on a plug end. Turn the key on and then the blinker switch. I assume it is bad and quit working though so disregard that last idea if it is bad and not making the clicking noise any longer. It should be a little round or square silver relay. Just pull it off the end where ever it is located. If it is stuck then pull hadder being careful not to pull the wire off with it. It will come off.
It will have two maybe three metel prongs that plug it in. Just replace with new on. Thy have different levels of noise you can buy. If grandpa is getting hard of hearing and forgets to turn his blinker off then you can get a louder one. Let me know how you do on this. Raz

Power window not working

If it was working fine before then most likely the switch has shorted or the wires to the motor have come disconnected, worst case the motor is bad, if the blinker is working but not making noise, then no need to worry, it is possible that you just need a new blinker relay.

Hear your turn signal over road noise and music! Select "Love Me Tender" which plays at standard volume, or our signal flasher louder than a standard flasher.

Hazards and blinkers not working

There are separate fuses for the turn signals and blinkers, but you should check both of them just to see if they're good.

You may have a burnt out turn signal bulb as well. I know that this sounds like an obvious answer, but a single bulb can sometimes disable the entire system because of the way that some flashers operate.

You could also have a defective turn signal/hazard light flasher. This is located under the dash board on the driver's side between the steering column and the door. You have to remove the sound insulation/kick panel (the cover on the bottom of the dash board) to reach the flasher (it is easy to remove - I don't think you even need tools).
